We are a Doncaster-based team of single ply flat roofing specialists with a simple promise: quality work, honest advice and roofs that stay watertight.
Sureseal Flat Roofing Ltd has been waterproofing homes and commercial buildings across Doncaster and South Yorkshire since 1995. Single ply membrane was our specialism then and it still is today, backed by more than 25 years on the tools and over 1,000 completed roofs.
We started out fitting PVC single ply when most local roofers were still reaching for felt, and we built the business on getting the details right: the falls, the upstands, the welded seams. Those details are the difference between a roof that stays dry for decades and one that leaks within years.
Because we focus on membrane systems rather than trying to be all things to all roofs, we know exactly how to specify and install them. Over the years we have become approved installers of the leading manufacturers, including an award-winning Renolit installer, so the systems we fit carry genuine, long-term guarantees.
We have grown without losing what makes us reliable. We are still a directly employed, local team, the same people who quote your roof are the ones who fit it, and we still answer the phone. Where single ply is not the right answer, we also install PMMA and polyurethane liquid systems, so you get the specification that suits your roof rather than the only one we offer.

Single ply specialists
Single ply membrane has been our trade since 1995, not a sideline. We do not chase pitched roofs or guttering, we fit flat roofs properly, which is why so much of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers.
Hot-air welded seams
Every joint is hot-air welded into one continuous, watertight skin rather than glued. A welded seam is as strong as the membrane itself and will not lift or open up over time, which is exactly where cheaper roofs fail.

The systems we work with
Single ply is our specialism, but it is not the only answer. We fit the right system for the roof in front of us.
Single ply membrane
The core of what we do. A flexible, single-layer membrane, hot-air welded into one continuous skin, that lasts 25 to 35 years. We specify the right system for your roof, its detailing and its access, and fit it to manufacturer standard.
Liquid systems: PMMA & polyurethane
Where single ply is not the best fit, for fiddly detailing, balconies, walkways or roofs with many penetrations, we install cold-applied PMMA and polyurethane coatings that cure into a seamless, fully bonded waterproof layer.
Warm roofs & insulation
Most replacements are built up as warm roofs to meet current building regulations, adding insulation that keeps rooms warmer and cuts heat loss, with the falls set so water clears properly to the outlets.
Repairs, leak detection & maintenance
We trace leaks to their real cause rather than patching the symptom, and offer planned maintenance that adds years to a roof and keeps manufacturer guarantees valid.
Electronic leak detection & testing
We test roofs electronically to pinpoint leaks and prove integrity, locating breaches to within centimetres and providing a full written report for your records, warranty or insurer.

A small, directly employed team
Sureseal is a close-knit, directly employed team, not a rolling cast of subcontractors. The people who survey and quote your roof are the ones who turn up to fit it, so nothing gets lost along the way.
Everyone holds the relevant safety cards, works to a method statement and risk assessment on every job, and leaves the site clean. It is a small thing that tells you a lot: we treat your property the way we would want ours treated.
